Kalamari Patty BurgersIngredients

  • 6 Kalamari Patties
  • 6 large burger buns
  • ½ lettuce, washed
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 6 slices cheese
  • Tartare sauce

    Any other favourite burger fillings:
  • Fried onions
  • Pineapple rings
  • Beetroot
  • Pickles
  • Mayonnaise / tomato sauce

Method

Bake the patties from frozen for 10 minutes on each side at 200C or deep fry the patties from thawed state for 4 minutes.
While they are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns and start filling the buns with lettuce, tomato slices and cheese.
Place the patties on the cheese so it will melt then top the patty with Tartare sauce.
Patties can be dressed with lemon juice after cooking for a tangy flavour if desired.
Serving suggestion: French fries and lemon wedges.
