New Zealand Greenshell™ Mussels are grown in the cool, crystal clear waters of New Zealand’s coastline in farms where the conditions are ideal for quality mussels. The Greenshell™ Mussel concentrates natural nutrients and goodness into a perfectly balanced combination in a way that only Mother Nature can. Only nutritionally mature mussels are harvested from the sea and used to produce Nutri-Zing®.

The New Zealand Greenshell™ Mussel contains several natural compounds. The Powder used in Nutri-Zing® contains no chemicals because it is produced from 100% New Zealand Greenshell™ Mussels. Nutri-Zing® supplements for pets contains Glycosaminoglycans, Omega 3 fatty acids, essential and non-essential amino acids plus a large range of minerals.

Glycosaminoglycans

Glycosaminoglycans are mucopolysaccharides (e.g. chondroitin sulphate) and are known as the “Glue of Life”. They are cartilage building blocks, and are used by the body to help rebuild worn or damaged cartilage in the joints.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids

• Eicosapentanoic acid (EPA, C20:5n-3)
• Docosahexanoic acid (DHA, C22:6n-3)

Omega 3, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) have many health benefits for skin and coat development and to help body cells to perform efficiently. Eic

United Fisheries is dedicated to producing the best possible quality product for our customers. We farm the mussels in their natural environment (the cool, crystal clear waters of New Zealand’s coastline) then process them at our own premises into mussel powder using freeze dryer and other newly developed methods so as to maintain consistent and complete customer satisfaction. Temperatures are kept low throughout the process to eliminate any damage by heat denaturation to the Glycosaminoglycans, vitamins and amino acids in the mussels. The mussel powder is mixed with molasses, microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium sterate into a consistent formula then stamped from moulds under pressure for a fraction of a second in order to produce the solid, chewable treats called Nutri-Zing®.
