Savoury Stuffed Squid TubesIngredients

  • 8 Squid tubes
  • 200g bacon, finely chopped
  • 4 large mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 25g butter
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 apple, grated
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp oregano, dried


Preheat the oven to 180C and grease a roasting pan.
Fry the bacon and mushrooms together in the butter in a pan until completely cooked.
Combine them with the breadcrumbs, grated apple, eggs, salt and oregano until thoroughly blended.
Use the mixture to stuff the squid tubes, place them in the roasting pan and then bake them for 20 minutes.
Serve with Sweet Thai Chilli sauce.
